Pelvic power strength and wellness series ✨
.
1. Did you know that certain foods and drinks can irritate your bladder? 🚫 Keep your bladder happy by avoiding excessive caffeine, alcohol, dairy, spicy foods, and acidic fruits. Your body will thank you!
2. Hydration is key to a strong pelvic floor! 💧 Staying hydrated helps maintain muscle function and support overall pelvic health.
3. Good nutrition = better pelvic health! 🍓 Eating a balanced diet full of fiber, antioxidants, and healthy fats can help support muscle function, reduce inflammation, and keep things running smoothly. Nourish your body, nourish your pelvic floor!
4. Stress can take a toll on your pelvic floor! 🧘♀️ Finding ways to manage stress—whether through yoga, deep breathing, or relaxation—can help keep your pelvic floor muscles strong and relaxed. Take care of your mind, take care of your body!
5. Movement is medicine for your pelvic floor! 🏃♀️ Whether it’s walking, stretching, or strengthening… regular exercise helps keep your pelvic muscles strong, flexible, and balanced. Prioritize movement to support long-term pelvic health.
6. Pelvic floor health is about more than just Kegels! 💪 Incorporating a mix of strength, stretching, and mobility exercises helps create balance and support for your pelvic muscles. Variety is key for a strong, functional pelvic floor!
7. Don’t ‘just in case’ it! 🚫 Heading to the bathroom when you don’t need to can train your bladder to send a signal when it’s not that full. Listen to your body and only go when you feel the urge—your pelvic floor will thank you!
8. Hovering over the toilet? Not the best for your pelvic floor! 🚫 Sitting fully on the seat helps your pelvic muscles relax, making it easier to empty your bladder fully and avoid unnecessary strain. Take a seat for pelvic health!
9. Good posture = a happy pelvic floor! 🧘♀️ Proper alignment helps reduce pressure on your pelvic muscles, supporting better function and reducing strain.
